		<description><![CDATA[During the week of February 14 to 18, <strong>Tempe Sister Cities </strong>and <strong>Hackett House </strong>in partnership with <strong>Wildflower Bread Company</strong>, held a soup fundraiser that raised $5,000 to help build a desperately needed school in Tempe's Sister City, Timbuktu, Mali. A special thanks to <strong>Louis Basile </strong>of <strong><a href="http://www.wildflowerbread.com/">Wildflower Bread Company </a></strong>for his generous donation of all the delicious food.

On Saturday, April 9, 2011, Hackett House will join in the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland. We will have a Mad Hatter Experience with delicious savories and sweets and a visit from Alice! The children will also create outlandish hats and then parade their creations.

<p>Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 9, 2011 for the Hackett House Mad Hatter Children’s Tea.</p>
<p>In our celebration of the 60<sup>th</sup> anniversary of <em>Alice in Wonderland</em>, Hackett House will host a children’s tea party to delight your young one.<span id="more-30"></span></p>
<p>From 12:00 to 2:00pm on Saturday, April 9<sup>th</sup>, your child will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Meet &#8220;Alice&#8221; herself</li>
<li>Enjoy a real tea with delicious savories and sweets</li>
<li>Create outlandish hats to mark the occasion</li>
<li>Participate in a parade wearing their new creations</li>
<li>Hear a tale from the Story Lady to complete the experience</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Costumes are encouraged for this trip to Wonderland and there will be plenty of photo opportunities</strong></p>
