Wouldn’t you like to slow down the pace of modern life for a few hours?
Sign up for a tea in one of Hackett House’s historic Friendship Rooms, and you’ll find yourself enjoying a wonderful ritual from a more tranquil time.
Our lavish full teas include our famous scones, a delectable assortment of savories and sweets, tea served in fine china cups and on fresh-pressed linens.

We offer six teas for each year:
- October 6, 2012 – Fall Tea
- November 18, 2012- Nutcracker Children’s Tea
- December 8, 2012 – Holiday Tea
- February 16, 2013 – Valentine Tea
- April 13, 2013 – Spring Children’s Tea
- May 11, 2013 – Mother’s Day Tea
Prices for all teas are $24 per person, and tea is served from 2 to 4 pm (except for the Nutcracker’s Tea and the Children’s Spring Tea, which are from 1 to 3pm).
Champagne, mimosas and wine are available for an additional cost. Children’s menus are also available on request.

Tea party volunteers needed
Did you realize that you could help out with an event as pleasant as a tea party AND make a difference in our Tempe community? It’s true!
Every event the Hackett House hosts raises funds to benefit the programs of our parent organization, Tempe Sister Cities. And all of our events are organized and run by our dedicated volunteers.
