SUMMARY:WHIMSY SWEET AND SAVORY - Cookies for the Holidays
DESCRIPTION:Meet Jayleigh\, age 12 and Zowie\, age 11 as the Hackett House once again welcomes their  local business\, Whimsy Sweet and Savory\, an online baking service. They introduced their cookies to us for Mother’s Day and they are selling their handmade cookies once again through the Hackett House and donating $5 per box back. \nThey will be baking a total of 20 boxes of special Holiday Cookies\, available for pickup at the HH gift shop on Saturday\, December 14.  Each box comes with 6 hand decorated ornaments that taste as good as they look. \nThe Hackett House shop will be open from 11 am – 5 pm.  As quantities are limited\, orders must be paid for by December 1st.

SUMMARY:Nutcracker Tea
DESCRIPTION:Hackett House will again be partnering with the Southwest Ballet Youth Company to present an unforgettable Nutcracker’s Tea with costumed dancers interacting with the children\, crafts\, and fun. Delicious sweets and savories will be served on the beautiful Hackett House covered patio.  The food is designed to please the tastes of our younger guests. Costumes are encouraged. Tea is served from 1-3 pm. The cost is $35.00 per person. You can pre-order some of our delicious scones to take home with you. Scones are $24.00 per dozen and $12.00 for a half dozen. Flavors vary per tea menu.

SUMMARY:Chef Iñaki Comes to Hackett
DESCRIPTION:Chef Iñaki joins the Hackett House volunteers to prepare cuisine from the Spanish and Basque regions.  Iñaki was born and raised in the Basque city of Irun\, Spain and began his apprenticeship in kitchens in 1992 in Argi Eder\, France.  After graduating from Lycee Hotelier de Biarritz in 1996 with three degrees in the culinary arts\, he moved to the United States to work at Hotel Durant in Berkeley\, CA.  He then moved to AZ and worked in multiple restaurants.  Currently he and his wife operate Keto Kitchen Confections in Chandler. \nWe are looking forward to seeing what Iñaki will prepare for us in the Hackett House kitchen.  (We’ve heard Tortilla Patata\, Paella\, and Crema de Catalana is on the menu – updated menu coming soon.) \nJOIN US! \nTUESDAY\, NOVEMBER 19\, 2019 \n6-8:30 pm \nHackett House \n95 W. 4th Street \nTempe\, Az 85281
